The York County Office of Children, Youth & Families will hold a public information session on Monday, Sept. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the York County Administrative Center at 28 E. Market St. York, PA 17401.

The informational session will be held in the third floor conference room of the county’s Administrative Center, known by some as the old courthouse.

Do you have a passion for helping others? Children, Youth & Families is seeking individuals who are interested in working in child protective services, which involves investigating child abuse and neglect cases.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for a career in social services and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, therapists, advocates, service providers and law enforcement.

Come out and talk to individuals who do this work, ask questions and submit your resumé. York County government offers a wonderful benefits package and embraces diversity in our workforce as an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Computers will be available during the event to begin the application process. Resumés for caseworker positions can be emailed to ychr@old.yorkcountypa.gov for individuals who cannot attend.
