York County wants to give you a look in its emergency services center.

Stop by our 120 Davies Drive building in Springettsbury Township and get a look at our state-of-the-art facility. See what dispatchers and calltakers do and where they do it at the county's 911 open house on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

911 CENTER

We're inviting the public to see how we work with up-close 911 tours, emergency vehicle and helicopter displays, a hazmat exhibit, K-9s, public safety information tables and more.

There will be a blood drive, children's fingerprinting and food vendors. Those who plan to give blood must have eaten within a four-hour period prior to donating.

This event is open to the public. No pets are allowed in our center, except for certified service dogs.

No need to RSVP. Simply stop on over and learn about how the county serves its residents in emergency situations.

Call 717-840-2921 with any questions or email our public information officer at ycpio@old.yorkcountypa.gov.
