The York County Economic Alliance and the York County Commissioners will host the State of the County address for an exciting update on the status of the county on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Dover Area High School located on 46 W Canal St., Dover, PA 17315.

The commissioners will provide a county financial breakdown, celebrate the accomplishments of county departments and also recognize and celebrate the success of county employees by awarding the following:

Team Player of the Year: An individual who has provided outstanding leadership, consistently leads by example and routinely goes above and beyond for York County.

Young Professional of the Year: An individual who is up and coming and has shown tremendous initiative and devotion to York County.

The YCEA will provide an update on the recently established Land Bank Authority. Dover Area High School will preview plans for their new high school.

The State of the County is presented by The Glatfelter Agency, a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group.

There is no cost to attend this event, but pre-registration is preferred. Registration can be completed by clicking here, or visiting YCEAPA.org. Light refreshments will be provided.
