The Rail Trail, one of York County's 11 county parks, was the destination of an episode of Smart Talk, which allowed recreation experts to speak about the importance of trails and the value of outdoor recreational opportunities.

The show aired live from Hanover Junction, one of several historic stops along the trail that runs nearly contiguous from John Rudy Park in East Manchester Township to beyond the Maryland line.
