The inaugural event will feature keynote speaker Miss Pennsylvania Tiffany Seitz, a resident of Freeport. She is a graduate of Grove City College with a Bachelors of Science in entrepreneurship and a minor in communications. Her impact platform is “Adoption Advocacy – Restoring Hope, Transforming Lives.”

Tiffany was tested cocaine positive and addicted at birth, and not expected to survive. She resided in foster care before eventually being adopted, so her platform is extremely personal, driving her passion to educate the public about fostering and adoption, ultimately helping children in the system to find forever homes and keep their dreams alive. Tiffany was chosen by PEOPLE magazine to be featured during the Miss America Competition.

In addition, the program will extend special recognition to an individual who has made a tremendous impact in York County in the area of adoption. This 2020 honor will begin an annual tradition of paying tribute to members of the York County community who uplift foster care and adoption.

The Office of Register of Wills & Clerk of Orphans’ Court is responsible for estate administration and acts as agent for the PA Department of Revenue to collect PA Inheritance Taxes, and oversees Orphans’ Court proceedings including dockets and filings for petitions of incapacitate persons, appointment of guardians, and adoptions, and the issuing of marriage licenses.
