“York County, Pa Sheriff App”
The App can be downloaded for use on Apple and Android devices. The iPhone App can also be used on an iPad or iPod Touch. The Sheriff’s Office App is available for download at the Apple App Store and on Google Play for free.
The York County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is a public outreach effort that enables us to improve communication within our communities and York County residents by empowering people through technology.
It has an easier to maneuver look with icons for sections
The Submit A Tip & Contact Us are at the top of the page for easy & quick access. The Submit A Tip enables the user to text anonymous most wanted / warrant tips and pictures through the application.
Other Sections include:
- Meet the Sheriff - Provides you information on the Sheriff, his service, and education.
- Events – A calendar format showing scheduled events of interest to the public
- Most Wanted - A detailed list of our most wanted fugitives to include pictures, charges, and other demographical information. Also provides a link to the most recent most wanted video.
- Live Incidents Status (York County) – Provides a link to incidents and road closures as reported by York County Department of Emergency Services
- Inmate Search – Provides a link for participating state and local adult housing facilities for inmate locations
- Firearms Licensing – Provides you with information with the firearm’s licensing process
- Sex Offender Search – A link to the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law Division
- Division Contacts – Provides information on each division listed as well as forms for that division
- Sheriff Sales - Provides an explanation of the Sheriff Sale Process, fees, and schedules. Also allows the user to conduct a live status search of all current Sheriff Sale Listing through the Sheriff’s Office for service.
- Fingerprinting- Provides information on fingerprint orders
- School Programs - Lists all services and activities provided by the Office of the Sheriff to school and educational facilities.
- Community Services- Lists all services and activities provided by the Office of the Sheriff to the public and community groups.
- Join Our Team (Employment Information) - Provides information on employment opportunities within the Sheriff’s Office.
The bottom of the app features the News Feed and Social Media Links.
