Woods Wander: Sugarbush

Join naturalist Brandon Pentz on a winter walk out to the sugarbush on the Bird Hollow Trail. Each winter we tap red maple trees in hopes of collecting sap for maple syrup making. With a little help from the weather we will have some sap to collect and store as we learn more about the process of maple sugaring. We will also discuss and observe the winter woods as we walk. Walks will last about an hour and include uphill and downhill portions. Please call the nature center to register at 717-428-1961. No fee.
