The Recorder of Deeds office is responsible for the recording and maintaining of all real estate documents in the county of York, Pennsylvania. Beyond real estate, the Recorder's office also records military discharge papers and notary bonds/commissions. The current Recorder of Deeds is Laura Shue.

The Recorder Of Deeds position itself is an elected position with a four-year term.

The Recorder's office will continue the progress of advancement in technology, and ensure an efficient and effective delivery of services.
