The department's first day in the York County Administrative Center at 28 E. Market St. is Monday, June 5. Veterans affairs will be located in the basement of the building that already houses many county government offices, including Elections & Voter Registration, Tax Assessment and the Recorder of Deeds. 

Wheelchair accessibility will not be a problem for veterans as there is a lift on the left side of the building and an elevator inside. Parking is easily accessible across the street in the city's East Market Street garage. A crosswalk allows pedestrians to walk safely to the Administrative Center, which is secured by the Sheriff's Department.

Office hours will not change, remaining from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As is already the case, veterans can schedule appointments as needed.
