Training Participation/Policies

Registration

  • Registrations will be sent out prior to the start of each training event.
    • Participants will not be registered prior to registration being opened.
    • Registrations must be in the office by the end of the registration deadline date.
    • You must be registered in advance. Sorry, no walk-ins. If you come and are not registered, you may be asked to leave. If you have questions about your registration, please contact us in advance of the training.
    • If you have not received confirmation by email from DDAP/TMS or in the mail four days before the training, call YADAC at: 717-771-9222 to make sure you are registered for the training.
    • Please note: the coordinator has the right to not admit anyone not registered for the training. If you are not on the class roster, you may be asked to leave the training. Further, you can no longer substitute another person 24 hours before the training takes place.
  • Please be on time and plan on arriving at the training site by 8:45am. This allows time to complete the sign-in procedures, collect payment and start training by 9:00am.
  • Cell phones and beepers must be set to vibrate or turned off.
  • Cancellations: If you register and are unable to attend a training, you must call the YADAC office at: 717-771-9222 prior to 9am the day before the training. No Call/No Shows or cancellations after that time will be invoiced and will be responsible for payment of the training cost. No Call/No Shows will also be responsible for an additional $50 administrative fee imposed by DDAP.
  • If the participant is interested in being placed on the mailing list, please check that item on the registration form. Please make sure the participant’s name, agency name, address, zip code and telephone number are correct.

Payment options:

  • Pay at site the day of training or
  • Billed via invoice after training
    • We accept checks, cash (no large bills please) or money orders. Sorry, no credit cards.
    • Please make checks payable to YADAC.

Lunch

Lunch is included in the cost of your training. Vegetarian meals and other dietary needs must be indicated on the registration form.

Please note: In order to fulfill mandated training requirements, registration by our providers and those in the Substance Abuse Treatment or Prevention fields will be given preference over all others.

NASW Credits

Please note that payments for CEs go directly to NASW-PA. CEs are available through NASW-PA for most courses however this is subject to NASW-PA approval.
