Purpose:
The Homeless Assistance Program (HAP) provides services to persons who are at risk of becoming homeless (near homeless) or who are homeless. Participants must demonstrate that with the prevention and intervention services provided by the HAP service components, they would be able to meet their basic needs in the immediate and near future.
Current York County HAP Providers:
- YWCA ACCESS-York - Provides emergency shelter and bridge (transitional) housing for victims of domestic violence
- Bell Socialization Services - Provides emergency shelter and bridge (transitional) housing
- Bell's Next Door Program - Provides case management services, individual shelter night services, and rental assistance
